Dumpster Delivery Logistics Across St. Tammany Parish
How we plan dumpster delivery routes and timing across Slidell, LA and the rest of St. Tammany Parish, from Olde Towne streets to canal-front lots.

A dumpster delivery is a bigger truck maneuver than most people picture, and St. Tammany Parish's mix of a historic downtown core, canal-front neighborhoods, small incorporated towns and genuinely rural stretches means no two routes look quite the same.
Our yard and coverage radius
We run out of a yard on Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell. From there we cover Slidell itself plus eight surrounding communities - Pearl River, Eden Isles, Lacombe, Covington, Mandeville, Abita Springs, Madisonville and Goodbee - a mix of close-in neighborhoods and longer runs west along I-12 and US-190.
Olde Towne and older neighborhoods
Narrower streets and tighter parking around Olde Towne Slidell, and in the older sections of towns like Covington and Madisonville, mean our drivers plan placement carefully - a container that blocks a lane or a driveway isn't acceptable, so we ask about street width and parking before we ever load the truck.
Canal-front and waterfront lots
Eden Isles and other Lake Pontchartrain-adjacent neighborhoods have their own layout - canals, boat-slip driveways, raised foundations - and low-lying lots can be affected by heavy rain or storm surge during hurricane season. We ask about elevation and access specifically for these deliveries rather than assuming a standard driveway.
The parish's western towns
Covington, Mandeville, Abita Springs and Madisonville sit further west along I-12 and US-190, each its own small incorporated city or town with its own permitting office. These runs take longer, so we build the extra distance into scheduling rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Weather and scheduling
Hurricane season, heavy summer rain and the occasional flooded low-lying street are all routine scheduling factors across our whole service area, not just Slidell itself. We'd rather push a delivery back a few hours than send a truck out in unsafe conditions.
What you can do to help
Tell us your address, rough job type, and any access quirks - a gate code, a shared driveway, a canal-front layout - when you call. That single conversation is what keeps a delivery on schedule regardless of which part of St. Tammany Parish you're in.
Need a container in Slidell or anywhere in St. Tammany Parish? Call (985) 605-7917 and describe the job. We will name the size, the flat rate and a delivery slot — often the same day. No forms, no waiting on an email.
